Dear friends,

Where would we be as country if it were not for our brave veterans? Our district has over 50,000 veterans and I am so proud to be in a community of men and women who have put everything on the line in service to our country.

My father was an Air Force veteran of 24 years, and so I grew up with an appreciation and respect for what our service men and women do on our behalf. As a Member of Congress, this appreciation and respect has grown exponentially. I love our veterans, and I truly want the best for them - I know you feel the same way. That’s why I’m starting "The Veteran”, a quarterly newsletter that focuses on our great veterans and the things that I’m working on to serve them.
